HopFlyt has a patent pending for a long endurance electric Vertical Takeoff and Landing (eVTOL) hybrid fueled aircraft. The multipurpose aircraft can be used across military and civilian marketplaces. This design features a blended body and wing incorporating a forward swept wing. It enables long duration flights, high maneuverability, and the ability to incorporate multiple payload solutions for the customer. HopFlyt is currently testing scale models and planning a variety of aircraft sizes for customers.
The design goals for military use cases include the ability to launch and recover vertically from ships and austere locations as well as perform intelligence, reconnaissance, and surveillance missions in denied environment for over 18 hours.
The civilian design goals include use cases such as the ability to take off and land vertically from confined spaces and perform long duration agricultural aerial surveys or law enforcement reconnaissance.
In addition to the above patent pending design, HopFlyt has been issued three U.S. utility patents for its technology and continues to grow its IP portfolio with further patent applications being drafted.
